Electronic giant Huawei has officially opened on Monday its Mate 10 Pro for U.S market. The company’s new flagship smartphone would be sold in the US, especially on sites like Best Buy and Amazon, respectively.

Huawei Mate 10 preorders open in the US

Huawei Mate 10 Pro will be sold for $799, according to the company. Those who will be buying the new smartphone through a preorder would get a free $150 gift card. Customers could get the gift card from various retail stores where they bought the smartphone.

The company said it would start shipping the Huawei Mate 10 Pro on February 18. The new 6-inch flagship comes in two color options: the Midnight Blue and Titanium Gray. It can be recalled that Huawei’s new smartphone was actually adjudged as one of CNET’s favorite smartphone.

What’s amazing with Huawei’s new smartphone is that it is powered by the company’s
Kirin 970 processor. Huawei’s Kirin 970 processor equally performs with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-powered phone like the Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 device.

Huawei’s new smartphone came after a deal with AT&T was nixed as it tries to crack the US market. If the partnership were pushed through, Huawei would be getting a boost with AT&T as the major carrier partner.

At this year’s CES, the electronic giant was poised to announce that its Mate 10 Pro would be sold in the US market with AT&T partnership. The company selected AT&T because 90 percent of smartphone sales in the US derived from carriers.

Unfortunately, AT&T nixed the deal before the CES event last month, fearing of security threats as Huawei has ties with China.
