Samsung officially launched the newest addition to their J-series family — the J2 Pro. It’s the next J2 series after J2 Prime.

The official version appeared in a website and confirmed the specs which were leaked earlier.

It has a quad-core processor and 16GB internal storage. Double the size of J2 Prime which only has 8GB ROM. There is also a slot for a micro SD.

The J2 Pro still comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display. With a 1.5 RAM, it’s not at all different than its predecessor.

It also comes with two cameras, both of which have LED flash. The rear camera is 8-megapixel while a 5-megapixel camera is found in the front.

One upgrade is that the OS is already Android 7.0 Nougat. No official statement yet if it can be updated to Android Oreo.

Battery capacity is at 2,600 mAh. It lacks the fingerprint scanner feature.

It has three colors: black, blue and gold.
