Avid fans of the popular game, Battlefield 1 will be receiving a new fresh content this week. The news comes after the game’s publisher, EA announced that a fourth DLC expansion is coming.

 

EA says Battlefield 1 Apocalypse DLC will release in February

 

Obviously, the news has triggered some excitement from both fans and game enthusiasts. EA did not specifically mention the date as to when the DLC is coming, but certainly, it would be in February. Players who own the WWW1 shooter’s Premium Pass will be able to get the DLC expansion.

 

And speaking of the game’s expansions, players should expect more maps included in the Battlefield 1’s fourth DLC. According to the publisher, the game’s Apocalypse expansion has now a total of 5 maps.

 

These maps include the “bloody, muddy hell of Passchendaele and the Austro-Italian clash of Caporetto portray two of the most infamous battles of World War I.” The game’s new maps were described by EA as “The scenic wheat fields by River Somme transform into a nightmare after devastating artillery barrages.”

 

Meanwhile, EA emphasized that the game’s two maps-London Calling and Razor’s Edge-are maps which players can use for the Air Assault game mode. EA has yet to announced the specific details about these new maps playable only in the Battlefield 1’s Air Assault game mode.

 

On top of these, the game also introduced some other new elements which include new specializations, weapons, gadgets, ranks, vehicles, assignments, among others. Before the game’s fourth DLC expansion, Premium Pass owners would be to obtain the North Sea campaign which will be launched later this January.

 

EA said the North Sea campaign features two news maps-both the Zeebrugge and Heligoland Bight as well as the British Empire Royal Marines, and the C-Class Airship, respectively.
