Fans of the popular video game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has something to celebrate this day. This comes after news that the game’s developer, CD Projekt Red has an update for the game. The game’s update brings more features to the acclaimed RPG.
With the upcoming update to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the gaming experience has been enhanced especially for Xbox One X console. CD Projekt Red has added a 4K support including other visual aesthetics, visual improvement of the game for Microsoft’s gaming console.
The Witcher 3 update adds 4K support.
If you are a player that owns already a copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, he or she can already update and install the game. The game’s new and improved features include two visual fidelity options which is 4K Mode and Performance Mode.
Under the 4K mode, the game is expected to run using a 4K resolution with 30 frames per second. And on the Performance Mode, the game will have a dynamic resolution from 1080p until 4K with 60 frames per second (FPS).
What’s good with the game’s update is that it also support HDR resolution. This also gives the players an option to switch between 4K Mode and Performance Mode, respectively. To switch in between those option, a player must go to Options menu and select Display. From the Display menu, the player must go in the Advanced settings section to toggle between two modes.
Meanwhile, the game’s developer CD Projekt Red said that the game’s patch being deployed to Xbox One X is similar to the update that it rolled out earlier this year for PS4 Pro gaming console. In fact, the 4K support was viewed by the developer as a slight enhancement for its performance.
