Panasonic has launched its much talked about lens that would hopefully catapult their market share to newer heights.
The company released its latest 12-35mm f/2.8 X lens for their followers to enjoy.
Panasonic earlier this year announced their plans to release this lens. This led of a lot of excitement in the camera world. This is very first Micro Four Thirds zoom lens that offers the user with a constant aperture of f/2.8.
This new lens is compatible with Panasonic’s G range and Olympus PEN and OM-D range. Full frame users will enjoy this lens as this offers an equivalent of 24-70mm in its 35mm frame.
The 12-35mm f/2.6 X lens was manufactured in Japan and is made up of metal.
This lens features a standard zoom function and it offers a Power Optical Image Stabilization. What’s best about this lens is that it is touted to be waterproof and as well as dustproof.
Panasonic is hoping that sales will pick up from this lens and they are expecting G3, GX and GH users will be the core of the sales of the lenses.
The Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 X is going to be priced around $1,300 and will be available by the end of June.
