Japanese watch maker Casio has always made its rounds in the hi-technology market with their fabulous timepieces. Their popular G-Shock line has been around for almost 30 years. Built to withstand some serious bumps and crashes, these tough watches have made a name in the industry. You can certainly see dozens of individuals adorn these watches when walking around town.
With the G-Shock name synonymous to toughness and with a solid name backing it, are you willing to entrust you mobile phone to a company like them?
Casio has designed a new and quite interesting G-Shock watch. The company has developed a watch that is also a smartphone. Built for users who usually find themselves in rough situations, this new breed of smartphones surely trumps any like it out there. Aesthetically, it is similar to that of it predecessor, the G-Shock watch. It features a rubberized bumper around the edges and can survive a fall as high as 10 feet. It is also water resistant up to 10 meters and is capable of taking a full ton of weight. Now that is tough!
It runs on the Android and it was first unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Shows in Vegas. Though we are not sure if they would place this in the production line or is just a conceptg, but at any rate, if this is going to be available on the shelves, I bet that people would flock stores just to get their hands on this.
