Its official!

Twitter is set to host “The official developer’s conference” next year to be held in San Francisco.

During the Le Web 09 conference in Paris earlier today, Twitter director of platform Ryan Sarver confirmed the news. Dubbed the “Chirp”, the conference will gather developers that has contributed to the 50,000 applications already registered by Twitter since its conception in 2007.

Twitter’s landing page for Chirp doesn’t provide specific details such as the exact date or agenda of the conference. There is however, a field for users to put their email address so they can know when they “launch”.
