Yes, an app will be created for the game but as to whether Apple approves the app? That is definitely another story more or less filled with lots of question marks.
Rockstar Games, the publishing label of Take-Two interactive Software, has announced it will be bringing Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars to Appleās iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
“Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch,” Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games said. “We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive game play, on Apple’s new gaming platforms.”
The game, already available in Nintendo DS and is coming this fall on Sonyās PSP, is known for its tale of crime, corruption, and er ā a good amount of violence.
“If the Grand Theft Auto developers have an interface that’s bad or if they try to slip a fast one in like they did in one version of the game that showed what I’d consider to be X-rated sex in the thing — and Apple finds it — they’ll block it,” Mike Disabato, senior analyst at the Burton Group, said.
