“Bixby won’t be tied to a specific device. The ultimate goal is to make it ubiquitous,” he added.

“Samsung is unique in that it has TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, phones, PCs, and almost every consumer electronics. We also make the module chips that go in them needed in IoT. AI speaker will also be one among them,” Koh further explained.

Koh, meanwhile, pointed out that Samsung is now gearing up for several marketing campaigns. One of these campaigns is to expand trade-in programs for old phones.

Koh also disclosed that a new division would concentrate on 5G. “A change to 5G will happen faster and more seriously compared to the change from feature phones to smartphones 10 years ago, so we are preparing,” Koh noted.

Samsung users have something to look forward next month. The company has announced the release date for its upcoming flagship at CES 2018. Samsung said it would unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ during the Mobile World Congress 2018. The event will sometimes be held in February.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ Release Date

Details such as the exact release date of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be confirmed at the event. But rumors have it that the possible release date of the Galaxy S9 might be leaked by a tipster citing a “C-level executive at a major case maker” as a source.

According to @evleaks, a popular prolific leaker said that he obtained an information about the rumored Galaxy S9 release date from a Samsung C-level executive. He, however, did not name the Samsung official.

Based on the obtained information, Samsung would unveil the Galaxy S9 at MWC by February. Possibly, the company would be taking pre-orders earlier which would commence by March 1st. The prolific tipster also claimed that Samsung had selected March 16 as the official release date of the Galaxy S9.

Samsung: To Release a Better Phone than its S8+?

Nowadays, can you actually go on a day without using any gadget like a cell phone or laptops? Most of us might say “NO”, while some might say “YES”. Gadgets are just not the “IN” thing today. It is already considered a necessity. We use cellphones to communicate easily with our loved ones, our boss and co-workers and our friends. But are specifications and features of a phone important?

Cellphone have a wide variety of uses. You make calls and send text messages and you can send emails and chat people from all over the world. You can use it as a camera so let’s say goodbye to digital cameras. These are just some of a cellphone’s usage.

We can’t deny the fact that Samsung is one of the top companies when it comes to cellular phones. Their latest phones are the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. For those tech geeks like me, we know that the Samsung Galaxy S8+ covers the whole screen unlike the other Samsung phones which were released before it. But rumors are circulating that a better phone is about to be released by Samsung. It’s the Samsung Galaxy S9. It is said to cover more of the screen than the Samsung Galaxy S8+ which means more screen space to use.

Samsung Galaxy S8+

Since Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are high-end phones which are considered as very expensive for some of us, it won’t be a shock if the Samsung Galaxy S9’s price is higher than usual. Is it really necessary to buy high-end phones in order to be a part of the elite world?

As for me, I’d choose a phone which is suitable for my needs. Whether it’s a high-end phone or not. Because let’s face it, some of us can’t afford these kind of phones so why try to please the community with material things.
