Pinterest is still being used by 250 million people every month

While more prominent social networks are facing slightly slower growth or even seeing user numbers dip a little, Pinterest has quietly become bigger than ever. The company has revealed that more than 250 million people are using the service every month. Pinterest also has more than 175 billion pins, an increase of 75 percent since early 2017, which underlines the platform’s growth.

Call of Duty’s battle royale mode, Blackout, is exceptional

When Activision announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 would have a battle royale mode, I was supremely skeptical. At best, it sounded like an attempt to jump on the bandwagon of an already popular genre; at worst, a last-minute attempt to flesh out a game without a traditional single-player campaign. With the $8 million Fortnite Summer Skirmish wrapped after eight weeks of competition, Epic has already announced the next batch of competitions, and they’re coming soon. The Fortnite Fall Skirmish ups the stakes and shrinks the window with $10 million at stake over six weeks of competition.
