A popular phone tipster has confirmed that tech giant Google would release the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. Evan Blass has posted a tweet this week, hinting that Google may likely release the two alleged smartphones.
Is Google planning to debut new smartphones?
It cannot be denied that the mystery behind the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL has kept Google fans waiting. At present, Google’s best smartphones are the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Blass also said that the tech giant would retain the company’s two phone strategy.
Although Blass did not cite who was his source, he assured that the information was sourced from a “reliable” person. He added that Google’s two phone strategy is an exact opposite of Apple Inc. which is moving to three iPhone X designs.
The web’s most popular tipster further confirmed that Google has already scheduled a launch date for both Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. Fans of Google smartphones should also expect that both phones will be sold expensively.
Speaking of the rumored phone’s launch date, Blass claims that both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL would be announced during the company’s annual inaugural hardware event. This event falls on October 4 and users should expect that both the rumored phones would dominate the headlines.
As of press time, Google has yet to confirm the aforesaid event. But other tech users suggest that Google would likely to announce the new phones come September or early October. By doing so, both the rumored phones would be the company’s last releases of the year.
