LG Budget K30 Phone Is In The US Through T-Mobile

T-Mobile brings LG budget K30 phone to the US. Midrange phones were refreshed by LG at the Mobile World Congress this year. While we were distracted with its flashy flagship devices, the K30, one of those affordable phones, became available at T-Mobile.

The LG K30 Budget Phone

The K30 is a rebranded K10, which LG announced in February this year. This budget [phone features a 5.3-inch HD display. It has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2880mAh battery. Its RAM is likely to be 2GB, as t-Mobile does not even list it. It is running Android 7.1 Nougat, unlike the K10, which runs Marshmallow.

The phone charges over USB-C, according to T-Mobile. But XDA-Developers say it actually uses Micro-USB. The latter might probably be true. If you consider the K30’s cost ($225), USB-C seems too good to be true. Despite the “unclear” charging port, the K30, surprisingly, comes with fast charging capability.

While LG’s K30 is far from cuting edge, it is more that accurate for those looking for a quality, discount Android device. Hardware-wise, there is nothing to be impressed with in the K30. But that is expected as this is an entry-level device. Lg has decided to go with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAm, and 32GB expandable storage.

The smartphone comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE capability and support for the 600MHz band. That is about everything you need to know about K30 and what it has to offer in terms of specs.

A Great New Option

If you are looking for a cheap phone, the LG K30 is a great new option. It takes advantage of T-Mobile’s new band 71 (600MHz) spectrum.
