Software giant Microsoft is reportedly developing a new model of Surface Hub. The company said that the second generation of its Surface Hub brags a 55- and 84-inch 4K smart displays.
A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed this news to The Verge after it released an official statement. “Surface Hub created an entirely new device category and we’re thrilled with the strong momentum we have seen across the globe.”

The spokesperson further said that, “We’re working on V2 and will share more in the first half of this year.” It was learned that Microsoft is planning to publicly unveil the Surface Hub 2 in the first half of this year.
However, despite the rumors, the software giant did not give a hint as to when the devices will be available for businesses to purchase.
Apart from this, Microsoft is working a new operating system upgrade for existing Surface Hub devices. By doing so, the software giant wants you to upgrade the old model of STHS. Also, the Microsoft Teams integration would also released the Surface Hub in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Microsoft said that Surface Hub’s demand in the US possibly would outstrip any benefits. In case you don’t know, the company has closed the US manufacturing plant for second year.
Microsoft originally announced its Surface Hub. The 4K displays were supposed to ship that year, but they didn’t end up in businesses until March 2016.
