What a comeback for Nokia!

Rumors have been spreading that Nokia 10 will have a penta-camera setup after a successful welcome for Zeiss optics to its Android family last year.

The Nokia brand, licensed by Finland’s HMD Global, is now in the headlines. The rumored Nokia 10 has a face now and it shows the famous penta-camera. Aside from the newest release, the Nokia 7 Plus’ specs is in the news also and is listed for the launch in the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 next month.

Nokia 10 Penta-Camera

According to the details by the NokiaPowerUser based on the leaked sketch, which was by the way given by a very trusted source, the camera on the Nokia 10 might be same to a dual-lens camera witha primary lens at the center. Because it is a “penta-camera”, expect a lot of cameras from it and some might be hidden underneath. The module might also be rotatable to change the focal length in combination with its main camera. This is what Zeiss formally suggested in a Twitter video July last year. Well, this is somewhat new and will be the very first smartphone to have a penta-camera.

In the sketch, you may also see a fingerprint sensor just right below the camera, same as the Xiaomi handsets. Not to mention the back of smartphone will be covered in a 3D glass panel. And because it’s a bezel-less year, it will have an 18:9 display and comes with a Snapdragon 845 SoC, similar to the upcoming Nokia 9.

The development of a multi-lens mobile camera technology by Zeiss was confirmed by German Patent and Trade Mark Office. This new innovation described in the patent application, is based on the various lenses that have different focal lengths and can be rotated to combine with the main camera to produce an amazing photo.

Nokia 7 Plus Specs

From the rumored Nokia 10, let’s proceed to the famous Nokia 7 Plus and its details. The Nokia 7 Plus will run on Android 8.0 Oreo, the newest operating system of Android. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, and also comes with its 4GB RAM. The details on Nokia 7 Plus’ physical appearance and camera sensors wasn’t on the list yet but the overall performance will surely give you an amazing experience.

We may not expect some revisions or changes on the details because the listings were released last January 26.

Alongside the flagship launch of Nokia 9 at the forthcoming event, expect also the release of Nokia 8 (2018), Nokia 1, Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus.
