It’s almost Christmas and I’m thinking of a great Christmas gift for myself (because no one gives me presents hahaha). I wanted to buy Samsung J7 Pro because it’s like my dream phone. With the specs and design plus the brand itself. But is it worth buying?

Samsung J7 Pro

The J7 Pro is Samsung’s newest addition to their J-series collection. It belongs to their mid-range phones so it’s a bit expensive for those who are sticking on a low budget.

J7 Pro’s Specs

At 5.5-inch in size, it has Super AMOLED Display. It has a 13 megapixels camera both in the rear and front with f1.7 and f1.9 respectively. Both has LED flash as well. It captures great photos even under low-light conditions and the selfies are superb.

With 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM (16GB and 64GB to some countries), this is a great choice because you’ll have a lot of storage space. I actually love the internal storage of this phone because I’m the kind of person who downloads a lot of applications.

And did I mention that it runs on Android Nougat 7.0? It has a new update at this time. And it is also going to have an Oreo update once it’s released.

It has a metal-body which gives it a classy look. Available in four colors: Black, Gold, Rosy Gold and Silver Blue (some colors are not available in other countries), you have a lot of choices to choose from.

The J7 Pro has a 3,600mAh battery which can last you a typical day. But with the new update, users are saying that the battery even lasted for more than a day with a normal usage. You won’t have to worry about charging your phone twice a day if this is the case.

It also has a fingerprint scanner which is a great addition for security. It has two slots for your sim-card and another slot for your memory card which can support up to 256GB. You won’t have to choose between having one sim card and one memory card or only two sim cards.

J7 Pro features

What I really like about this phone is its cool features.

It supports multi-windows. You can use up to 4 windows at the same time. How wicked can it get. It also has an SOS feature. You just have to turn it on. If you have an emergency, you just press the power button 3 times consecutively and i will send messages to your contacts.

It also has the blue filter mode which will protect your eyes during night time.

Another feature is the dual chat app. You can have two or three chat apps like for example the Messenger app without downloading Parallel Space. Cool, right?

You can also customize your phone with different themes and fonts without downloading a third-party app.

Here’s a video of some cool things that you can do with your J7 Pro:

Even with a some downsides like AMOLED bleeding and burn, this phone is worth buying. It depends on how the user takes care of it.
