A few weeks ago, I wrote an article about Apple Pay (link: https://technewsgadget.net/2017/12/apple-pay-cash-convenient-way/), and now there are whispers that the end of cash payments is almost near. Would you agree with this?

Apple Pay for iOS users

After months of teasing their Apple Pay Cash, they are FINALLY going to release it. Being a person-to-person payment method, this is a great and convenient feature for iPhone users.

Because of this, you will have lesser excuse in delaying of paying back your friend.

Limited to iOS users only, Android users can use other applications with the same method.

This feature is added to the latest launched iOS version which is iOS 11.2. But this is only a Beta version so don’t expect too much just yet.

Using this new mobile payment method is easy as 1, 2, 3. You can complete a transaction with a friend by using iMessage. Users can send money through their credit or debit card.

If they receive money, it will appear virtually as an Apple Pay Cash card in their Wallet app. They can then use it instantly to pay at stores and for online purchases or transfer the money to their bank accounts.

So, is this really the end of Cash-based payments?
