samsung android powered cameraSamsung might be at the wrong end of the stick in their fight against Apple, but the company is set to release their latest Galaxy device later this week in the IFA electronics trade show in Berlin.

According to GSM Arena, Samsung is going to unveil their latest device, which is an Android powered camera.

The report says that this camera will come with a 16 MP sensor and will be running on Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is also reported that it will have a 4.8 inch screen similar to that of the Galaxy S III.

It is said that this Android powered camera will have an integrated cellular connection so that you can automatically send the photos your just took to your social networking sites such as Instagram and Facebook.

About a month or two ago, Japanese camera maker Nikon released their own version of the Android powered camera.

Though it only runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, users can access the Google Play marketplace through the device.

During the Consumer Electronics Show last January, Polaroid unveiled their own version of an Android powered camera. But it hasn’t been released to the market yet.
