Appleās virtual assisstant Siri has taken flack in England.
Twelve year old Charlie Le Quesne tried a demo iPhone 4S in one Tesco brand in UK, and to her surprise, the once kind assisstant let the little girl have it (Siri has a male voice in UK).
The Sun reported the incident and according to them Charlie asked Siri, āhow many people are there in the world?ā Siri then answered Charlie, āshut the f*** up, you ugly t***.ā
The report also added that Kim Le Quesne, Charlieās mom, said āI thought I must be hearing things. So we asked again and the same four-letter stuff blared out.ā
In defense, a Tesco staff said that somebody entered this offensive phrase as the userās name in the set-up instructions.
The Sun also added that Tesco is currently doing an investigation and has sent the iPhone back to Apple for further diagnosis.
