“Rewritten from the ground up with a fast and powerful new core”, Tweetie has come a long way from its predecessor.
Now, with Version 2.1, developers added support for Twitter’s new retweet, as well as lists and geolocation services.
Version 2.1 also adds support for Twitter’s new spam reporting API, has new video options, option to disable browser rotation, ability to disable the pinstripes view and fixed a lot of bugs including one where old posts would appear un unread when relaunching the app.
Tweetie 2.1 is now available at the Apple’s iTunes-based App Store and can be downloaded for $2.99. Users of the previous version, Version 2.0 can download the update for free.
