Ever since pictures of the successor of the Touch Pro with the Sprint logo appeared in the Web in the late spring, rumors that the carrier will have the HTC Touch Pro2 have circulated widely.
Now, a new leakage further adds weight to the rumor. A document, supposedly from the carrier, has gotten out. This document states that along with other several models, the Touch Pro2 will debut next month, specifically, on September 3.
Sprint has reportedly added support for their high-speed EV-DO Rev. A network on the device.
If this really is confirmed, Sprint will not be the first U.S. carrier to offer HTC’s latest model. Shortly after the phone maker revealed the Touch Pro2 a few months ago, T-Mobile has committed to offer it in their line-up.
Other carriers such as AT&T and Verizon are also working on adding the smartphone on their own respective line-ups.
