What’s notable on this latest offering is its support for up to 20 graphic cards. USB riser cables can also be plugged directly into the printed circuit board (PCB). Additionally, Asus claims that it is now easier to diagnose problems with the motherboard which reduces the downtime.

“Less time maintaining your machine means more time mining with it, which is why the H370 Mining Master includes a suite of diagnostic features designed to make your platform easier to manage,” Asus explains in its announcement.

Here is the full list of specifications of Asus’ self-proclaimed “blockchain behemoth:”

However, Asus maintains that it will be available sometime in the third quarter of this year. Fans can also have a preview of the mega motherboard at the Computex 2018 event in Taiwan next week.

The H370 mining master is not Asus first foray into crypto mining-specific motherboards. Last year, the computer hardware giant released the B250 Mining Expert which is still available in the market for $140.

The Asus ZenBook 14 Review

What is new for the Asus Zenbook 14?

The Asus Zenbook 14 is one of those laptops that you need especially when you edit photos in Photoshop.

It’s very portable and lightweight. Imagine, you can use a single laptop that’s capable of editing 3D images. With its thin body and a greater battery life, the Asus ZenBook 14 is right for everyone. Not to mention also its powerful processor that gives you a very convenient and fast experience.

The ZenBook Flip 14 uses the newest Nvidia’s new GeForce MX150 chip. These Nvidia’s MX series chips are the answer for giving the consumers great graphic performance. But in terms of all in all performance, the MX150 sits into the lower branch of GTX 10 cards. It is actually beneath the VR-capable GTX 1050.

The price of the ZenBook 14 is around $1,299 and you may purchase it through online. You may also get the Core i5/8GB/256GB SSD configuration at $999.

You will also get the Windows Hello fingerprint login. And also Windows Ink pen for doodling that’s included in the box. Also, the touchpad is so smooth but there’s something odd. The fingerprint sensor frequently failed. Then you need to key-in your PIN for it to unlock.

With so many laptops and computers being released every year from different companies and brands, it is a bit hard to choose which one is worth buying. Just think of the purpose why you will buy a laptop. Each laptop is based on a person’s usage. Use that as a basis when buying one.

Google Rolls Out A Fix For Home, Chromecast devices-related WiFi Issues

Search giant Google on Thursday has finally admitted the bug plaguing the Home and Chromecast devices. This comes after mounting reports that both devices were bugging the users’ Wi-Fi connectivity.

Google to issue a fix on Home-related Wi-Fi connectivity issues

In a statement this week, Google said that it is aware that Chromecast devices have been affecting the Wi-Fi network of Chromecast users.

“In certain situations, a bug in the Cast software on Android phones may incorrectly send a large amount of network traffic which can slow down or temporarily impact Wi-Fi networks. The specific impact to the network will vary depending on the router,” said Google in a blog post.

The search giant said that it would be rolling out a fix to resolve the issue. This means that Chromecast users could expect an updated fix which will be rolled out Play services commencing on January 18.

According to the company, both Chromecast device and Android phone on the same Wi-Fi network have experienced the issue. As a solution, Google suggested that users should try to reboot their Android phones as well as check the router if it needs to be updated to the latest firmware.

The problem stemmed from the TP-Link Archer C7 router including the Google Home Max speaker. But on the succeeding days, the problem emerged to affect other Google devices including other popular routers like Asus, Netgear, Linksys and Synology, respectively.

When the problem spotted, a TP-Link engineer found the main problem which apparently supported by Google’s latest comment.

“We have discovered that the devices will sometimes broadcast a large amount of these packets at a very high speed in a short amount of time,” the engineer wrote.

“This occurs when the device is awakened from the sleep mode and could exceed more than 100,000 packets in a short amount of time. The longer your device is in “sleep”, the larger this packet burst will be. This issue may eventually cause some of a router’s primary features to shut down – including wireless connectivity,” he added.

Google Home Speaker and Chromecast May Be Interfering With Users’ Wi-Fi

Google Home speaker or Chromecast devices were said to be the culprit why Wi-Fi services were acting up lately, especially for the owners of the devices above.

The news came earlier this week after an online report cited that Google Home Max speaker was reportedly bugging TP-Link Archer C7 routers to go offline.

Google Home speaker and Chomecast are bugging your Wi-FI

Not only that, the same report said that other devices were also affected by the glitch. This includes Asus, Netgear, and Synology, Linksys routers and TP-Link router models, respectively.

Also, Google Wifi was also affected by the bug. According to TP-Link, the issue was due to Cast feature that allows users’ phone as well as Google Home speakers and Chromecast dongles to communicate.

TP-Link said that this features “sends an MDNS multicast discovery packets to discover and keep a live connection with Google products such as Google Home.”

It further noted that the packets, under a normal condition, sent out in 20-second intervals. This came after a firmware update where the identified affected devices send an overwhelming number of packets, causing the routers to crash.

“The larger this packet burst will be,” said TP-Link.

So in case you experienced a crashing network with your Google Home or Chromecast, you need to fix it immediately if a fix will be rolled out by Google.

What we know so far is that Google has yet to release a fix as the company is currently “working quickly to share a solution,” Google told 9to5Google.

But for TP-Link users, it already released an updated patch to fix the bug via a beta firmware for the Archer C1200.
