Upcoming Movies You Need To Lookout For This Year

The year is nearing the end of its first half but still there are more upcoming movies to lookout for. After Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Tomb Raider, and many more movies released earlier this year, there are still more good movies to come.

Here are some of the movies which are due to be released this year. Check out the list and take note of those which you might want to watch.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

To be out in the theaters on May 25, this movie is billed as space Western. It launches Alden Ehrenreich into the galaxy far, far away as a young Han Solo.

Deadpool 2

This is a sequel to Fox’s 2016 smash anti-hero hit. Ryan Reynolds returns as the Merc With a Mouth to battle foes. He will be putting down enemies alongside fellow mutants Domino (played by Zazie Beetz) and Cable (Josh Brolin). June 1 is its schedule in the theaters.

Sicario 2: Soldado

Josh Brolin (again!) and Benecio del Toro try to take down drug cartels along the US-Mexico border. This is a sequel to Sicario. June 29 is its schedule on the movie houses.

Ocean’s 8

Ocean’s 8 will be out on June 8. This early 2000’s franchise spin-off convenes a glamorous ensemble. It stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, and Rihanna. They will pull off a grand heist of Anne Hathaway’s jewels in the Met Gala in New York City.

Incredibles 2

This year, the long-awaited Pixar sequel is back. The Parr family is reunited to save the world from certain doom. Last seen on the 2004 original, the Parr family will again hit the theaters on June 15.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Set to be out on June 22, this action packed sequel of the 2015 blockbuster stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas. In this movie, they seek to prevent total dinosaur extinction.

Ant-Man And The Wasp

The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) teams up with Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man in this Marvel Universe sequel set after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Ant-Man And The Wasp will be out on July 6.

Barbie

This first live-action film is based on Mattel’s popular line of dolls. It is rumored to star Anne Hathaway as the heroine and is set to be out on August 8.

Other Movies To Lookout For This Year

Other upcoming movie titles to be on the lookout for are: Crazy Rich Asians (August 17), The Little Stranger (August 31), The Darkest Minds (September 14), and Boy Erased (September 28).

Also coming are A Star Is Born (October 5), Venom (October 5), First Man (October 12), and Halloween (October 19). This November will give us X-Men: Dark Phoenix (November 2), Widows (November 16), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald (November 18), and Creed 2 (November 21).

Finally, for December this year, welcome Bohemian Rhapsody (December 25), and Mary Poppins Returns (December 25).
