Sony has announced that it won’t hold a traditional press conference during next month’s E3 showcase. The company, instead, plans to highlight its four upcoming titles via a live stream come June 11.
At E3 2018, Sony won’t be holding a press conference
The company will be highlight four upcoming games namely Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man, and The Last of Us: Part II. This development was shared by Shawn Layden who took to the PlayStation Blogcast to announce of the possible third-party announcements.
Layden’s announcement only confirmed that Sony wouldn’t be sharing the stage during the E3. But a recent news, however, hinted a different scenario. PlayStation Blog posted that Sony will be having more familiar event than the originally expected.
Sony said it would broadcast the PlayStation live preview on June 11 at [6:00] PM from E3 2018 in Los Angeles, California via live.playstation.com, Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. The company further said that its PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios would be at E3 in full force to provide its avid players with an exclusive look at four upcoming titles.
“We’ll have stellar announcements from third-party publishers and independent developers, who are all busy devising innovative new experiences that will make your heart race and your emotions soar, whether you’re playing on PS4, PS4 Pro, or PlayStation VR,” Layden wrote.
