Drones are pretty much becoming a staple in photography and videography now and they do produce stunning visuals. They also provide endless uses for various industries. But the one thing a lot of people don’t like about them is the loud noise it produces. DJI’s latest Phantom 4 drones plans to solve that.

The Chinese technology company announced two new Phantom 4 drone models on Wednesday. The the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 and the Phantom 4 Pro+ V2 are now both available for purchase.

DJI claims that it managed to cut down the propeller noise by as much as 60%. That’s about 4dB less than the previous Phantom 4 model. This was achieved by using “new aerodynamic 9455S propellers and FOC ESC driver. According to the company, this offer “improved noise control and sinusoidal current”.

Apart from the reduced noise, the specs are still similar to the original Phantom 4 Pro. It still packs a 20 megapixel 1-inch CMOS sensor that records videos at up to 60fps. It also has the same flight time of 30 minutes, and sports the same design as its older brother. The newer version of DJI’s drone also retains its maximum speed of 45mph.

The Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is available now from DJI with a price tag of $1,499. The Phantom 4 Pro+ V2.0 kit that includes a remote control with an integrated display sells for $1,799.
