The Return Of Crash Bandicoot
The return of Crash Bandicoot has been anticipated by a lot of fans. The marsupial mascot is back via the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. This game has been remastered for PS4. But does it deserve a comeback?
Getting To Know The Origin Of The Game
It is hard to make a review or comment on a remastered version of a game. It will seem as if you are reviewing two games, the original and the remastered versions. But we do need to compare it though so we will be able to see the difference between the remastered and original versions. If updates have really been made on the remastered version.
A lot of classic games have been remastered before. And when scrutinized, developers made badly remastered games. But good news to the marsupial mascot’s fans. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is and excellent remaster.
The first Crash Bandicoot was released in 1996 for PlayStation 1. This game put developer Naughty Dog in the map, although this was their first game. It’s actually Activision who has the right to the franchise. Having picked Spyro The Dragon as a job lot when they merged with Vivendi Games.
Actually Activision is responsible for the remastered version of Crash Bandicoot. This version is currently for PlayStation only but rumors say that there might be one for Xbox One coming.
The Game
The objective of Crash Bandicoot is to finish your task by reaching your goal. Along the way, you get to encounter obstacles. You need to overcome these obstacles. But mind you, do not under estimate your opponents. They may look stupid and even lacks intelligence, but they will make you work hard to be able to defeat them. There are also boxes along the way. These boxes or crates contain surprises. Some have power ups. So you need to crash into them.
The game has a very simple plot. But it is very entertaining and challenging. You might even get hooked up with the game. Although the remastered versions of Crash Bandicoot have been enhanced, it still has the simplicity of the original versions, which is the charm of the game.
So let us welcome the remastered versions of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Those who miss the game and are nostalgic of it, check out the remastered version. Re-live the fun and entertainment we shared with the marsupial mascot before.
