The OnePlus 6 phone is rumored to be the latest product from the company. Like its predecessors, OnePlus 6 is also expected to be an excellent but affordable smartphone.

How It Would Look Like

According to sources, the OnePlus 6 would probably look like the recently released Oppo R15. It is said that both phones may look identical. This is possible since both Oppo and OnePlus are partially owned by one company, BBK Electronics.

What Are Its Features

It has been confirmed that OnePlus 6 will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. According to a “tipster”, will have an incredibly identical advanced facial recognition system as seen with the Face ID on the iPhone X.
It is expected to have a front-facing camera set-up that uses a 3D camera and infrared light to measure depth and plot facial features. It will also have an edge-to-edge screen.

The configurations of OnePlus 6 will not be lower than 6 or 8GB RAM. With these, the OnePlus 6 will compare very favorably with the three flagships of the year, Sony Xperia XZ2, Samsung Galaxy S9, and Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Release Date

OnePlus has confirmed that the next handset will launch in the second quarter of 2018. That means at some point, it will be between April 1 and June 30. Given past form, a safe guess would be a June release date.

OnePlus 6 Price

This part is tricky. The series has gone through some price hikes since its debut in 2014, jumping from £229 to £450 in three years. Production costs are also increasing. With these two factors in mind, a price lower than £450 is out of the question.

Expect a handset that will cost from £500 to £550 when it launches.
