Apple is now working on its high-quality headphones

In a latest report, Apple is updating its wireless AirPods. And now working on its own brand of high-quality over-ears headphone said by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities. According also to Apple Insider, it may arrive later this year.

Apple Insider reported on Sunday, “A specific launch timeline was not provided, but Kuo believes the device is unlikely to debut prior to the fourth quarter of 2018.”

The headphones may feature wireless connectivity. And they’re aiming to deliver a device that boasts the convenience of AirPods. Well of course, with a better acoustic qualities.

As per reports, Apple is planning for their headphones to “be as convenient as AirPods with better sound quality.” Also, these headphones is expected to be “priced higher than AirPods”. Its retail will be at $159. Additionally, word broke earlier that the AirPods will have an update. This update will be all about its ability to activate Siri by voice this year. And to top that, they will make AirPods water-resistant by 2019.

According to Kuo, Ape is looking to pack high-quality audio components that would boos performance. But those parts come at a price.

However, the expected design language of this device is yet unknown. But if this report is accurate, Apple will cater those users who wanted more than just AirPods. Well, the company’s sudden release of their high-quality headphones is not that big of a deal. Actually, Apple is owning headphones company Beats, which they bought at $3 billion last 2014.

The tech giant is set to debut a branded high-end, over-ear headphones. With its ‘all new’ design to add to its growing audio accessory line-up. The headphones is reported to be released in the fourth-quarter of this year.
