Vertu has stayed in the background as of lately. Although news have been popping out about rumors of Vertu being sold by Nokia, no deal has yet been reached or details about it being confirmed.
Last June, Nokia said that they are selling Vertu to EQT VI. Still, we haven’t heard any confirmation about the supposed sale. But rumors have it that EQT VI will acquire 90% of Vertu’s stocks.
A couple of years ago, Nokia announced that they are going to release a Vertu device which is an elegant and luxurious version of the Nokia E6.
Called the Constellation Blue Phone, it is a collaboration of Nokia and fashion brand Italia Independent.
Another Constellation phone, the Constellation Neon, packs all the features of other Constellation devices. What is different with the Constellation Neon phone is the black PVD steel and hand-crafted perforated leather back and neon or carbon colored trim to give it a much sporty look.
Vertu has never been the device of choice ever since it came out of the market. But the luxury brand has some followers who can afford their soaring high prices.
The company only used to be a dream phone and it still continues to be so.
