    Facebook invite leads to riot

Facebook invite leads to riot Quick! Scamper! The SWAT is here!

This just might be the line that people used when they found out that the authorities have arrived to call a stop at their party.

According to BBC, a 16-year-old female posted an event invite for her birthday on Facebook. The problem was that she didn’t set her privacy controls and thus notified a lot of individuals from her town.

About 30,000 individuals received her event invite. Though she was able to cancel her party, about 4,000 revelers still showed up for the party.

The supposed birthday party turned out to be one hell of a nightmare, as the accidental guests were greeted by 600 riot police.

The revelers even made preparations for the event as they came laden with “Project X Haren” shirts.

After the ruckus were finally stopped by the riot police, the mess that was left was immense and the devastation left by the rioters were dumbfounding.

A new Facebook group was created asking for volunteers to help clean the mess that was made by the accidental invite. A Facebook page was made called Project Clean-X Haren.

The girl who accidentally sent the invite was nowhere to be seen until this day. According to the BBC report, she fled the town before her guests arrived.

    Careful with the Facebook events!
