Samsung has packed a lot of surprises for tech geeks and their followers during the IFA convention in Berlin. And the company has not stopped with presenting their smartphone and tablet lines. In fact, Samsung unveiled a new line of external memory cards for your smartphones and cameras.
These are not your typical memory cards as these are said to be built for speed and reliability.
There are three variants for these memory cards namely: Pro, Plus and Standard.
The Samsung Pro external memory card is the professional edition of this line. Samsung dubbed the latter as the fastest memory card out there.
Samsung said that the micrsoSD pro can hold up to 64GB of data. It also has a read speed of up to 70MB per second. They added that the Pro runs 3 times faster than any microSD card.
The Pro also features “advanced semiconductor technology” with multiple nanometer class NAND flash. Samsung adds that the Pro memory card can store full HD videos.
The company developed this new line of memory cards to be water proof and other external factors that could destroy a microSD card such as X-rays and excessive heat.
Samsung is going to release this new line of memory cards in the market this October.
