Facebook launched a very useful plugin for WordPress, allowing bloggers to integrate the promotion of their posts in their blogging platform.
More specifically, Facebook released the plugin “Facebook for WordPress” which allows bloggers to determine from WordPress what to promote on Facebook and in what way. You don’t have to log in Facebook after writing a post and share it on your wall or your page. Now, you can manually determine what to publish, where is it going to be published and who is going to be mentioned. Even a page can be mentioned, with the help of this plugin. Everything can be done by the time you install this plugin to WordPress, by writing a status, a mention or a comment!
According to Matt Kelly, a Facebook engineering:
“The plugin was built by Facebook engineers in collaboration with open source partners, and makes it simple for anyone to make their WordPress site more social – no coding required”
Facebook knows that WordPress is a powerful platform and they know that this cooperation will be useful for both sides. It is a way to combine all tasks in one environment.
More importantly, it will be interesting for all of us writing posts!
