Who unfriended me?!

This is what people say after finding out someone just unfriended them in Facebook. The typical reaction to this is to seek who was the individual who click the unfriend button. But unfortunately, there is no way to do that unless we would search out friends list and meticulously search one by one.

Although there are a number of pages and groups on Facebook that claims that they will be able to show you who unfriended you. But majority of them are scams.

Here comes Unfriend Friend. This is the real deal, unless Facebook somehow shuts it down. It works opn almost all Internet browsers.

Facebook sends you a notification both on your page and in your e-mail (unless you disabled it) if a friend has accepted your request. If someone deletes you or unfriends you, the site does not notify you.

Edouard Gatouillat developed a way to know who unfriended you.

Here is how the plug in works:

“Unfriend Finder is a real time script that allows you to know which one of your friends removed you on Facebook. A locale database keeps record of your friend list, and is compared at each refresh. Unfriends are people who were previously your friend but have either deactivated their account or have removed you from their friend list.
Unfriend Finder will tell you which friends have removed you, who has deactivated their accounts, people you have requested friendship with and who has declined your friend request.

Unfriend Finder makes identifying unfriends easy by displaying a red counter in the menu bar with the amount of unfriends you have. It also uses Facebook notification to alert you on these events.

Please note: This script can’t tell you which profile(s) had you on their friend list before it was installed. Unfriend Finder is not retroactive.”
