Bad news to all those Apple aficionados who were looking forward to owning the much coveted Steve Jobs doll. It seems like the much awaited toy won’t be made after all.

Apple and Steve Jobs family threatened Tandy Cheung forcing the entrepreneur to stop his plan of mass producing the scale model of the Apple founder.

Apple has always used the courts to force an individual or a corporation to stop using any of their patents,or in this case, the likeness of their founder. So it’s not unusual for them to issue a cease and desist order to Mr. Cheung.

Tandy Cheung was quoted as saying that he, “received immense pressure from the lawyers of Apple and Steve Jobs family,” thus forcing him to give in to their demands.

Before this developed, Tandy Cheung told ABC news that, “Apple can do anything they like. I will not stop, we already started production. I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I’ve never felt the weight of Apple’s lawyers, but I can probably bet I don’t want to rumble with them.”
