Details of Dells yet to be released windows 8 tablet have been leaked to the public. The windows 8 tablet which will be released later this year has caused a buzz before its release with its anticipated features. Dell has kept the commitment to Intel processors albeit for the time being. The new tablet is to be known as the dell latitude 10. It will be run by the Intel clover atom dual core processor. Its display will be among the best with a size of 10.1 inch and 1366*768 pixels. This display will be multi touch. An optional stylus will also be available.
The other specs are as follows
- The width will be 10.8 inches or 274 mm
- A depth of 0.4/10.5 mm
- Weight will be 710 grams
- Intel accelerated graphics
- The Intel clover trail atom dual core processor
- It will be run on the Microsoft windows 8 operating system.
- It will have a memory of 2 GB and hard drives will have up to 128 GB storage capacity
The stylus in this Dells window 8 tablets is not yet clear whether it will be the active digitizer or the rubber tipped pen. The windows 8 can support both of them though for the active digitizer it will require some hardware to support it.
The connectivity of the will include Bluetooth and WI-FI. These will have mobile broadband options. This tablet will have twin cameras running at the back and at the front. The back will have 8 megapixels while the front will be 2 megapixels.
The price of this new tablet and the release date are not yet known. We shall have to wait a little longer for Dell to announce the dates later in the year.
