Nexus-one-and-backflip Yep, it’s the Android’s time to shine and shine they did at the CES this week.

ComputerWorld.com’s Mark Hamblen got the chance to try out the Nexus One, also known as the Googlephone (built by HTC) and Motorola’s Backflip and gives us glimpse on their notable features.

The Nexus One weighs 4.59 ounces and looks very chic in its silver finish. It has a powerful speech-to-text feature with high accuracy even in a noisy room.

The Nexus One also has the ability to use a video wallpaper with 3D images.

Motorola’s Backflip has a 3.1-inch touchscreen which can be propped up and a QWERTY keyboard that can be folded back behind the screen.

The most notable feature on this phone however, is the ability to touch the touchscreen from the back. According to the company, developers will be building apps to use the back touch functionality so that’s something we will have to wait and see.
