In the previous years, Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy S series smartphones such as the Galaxy S9 on the MWC trade shows. However, numerous sources say that it might release the foldable smartphone instead.

The S10 on the other hand, might be slated for release at the CES 2019 on January 8-11, 2019.

Samsung’s foldable smartphone will not be the first in the market. ZTE released the Axon M earlier this year but its not stopping the Korean company from unveiling their own.

This unique phone from Samsung was previously codenamed Valley. It has now been changed to Winner signifying the move to mass production after the project has been in development since 2015.

There isn’t much to say about the product specs other than it will sport a foldable OLED screen. However, a report by Korean publication The Bell says that the prototype has a total of three OLED panels. Each panel measures 3.5 inches, two will be on the front to create a 7-inch screen. The back will have a single 3.5-inch display.

Samsung’s flagship phone, the S10, is said to be launched a month earlier at the CES 2019. This means production time has been shortened. Launching the devices separately however will allow for each device to have its own limelight.
