Motorola has announced this week that the new Moto G6 or Moto E5 will soon be available in the US. The company unveiled last month the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus.
Motorola to sell Moto G6, G6 Play, E5 Play and E5 Plus in US
In the US, Motorola said that Moto G6 would be offered in postpaid accounts with Verizon. Apart from the US’ largest mobile carrier, Moto G6 would be available also in pre-paid providers such as TracFone, Ting, and Republic Wireless, among others.
Not only that, the company’s new smartphone is expected to be with other retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Fry’s, and New York City’s own B&H Photo. Reports claim that the MSRP is pegged at $249.
Also, the company’s Moto G6 Play is expected to be offered to postpaid customers at AT&T. While the pre-paid customers of Boost Mobile and Cricket Wireless could buy the model, which would be called as the Moto G6 Forge.
Meanwhile, several pre-paid carriers that are planning to offer the phone include Verizon, Ting, Republic Wireless and Virgin Mobile. It is also noted that retailers selling the universally unlocked variant of the unit include Best Buy, Target, Fry’s, and B&H Photo. The phone would be sold for only $199.
Lastly, the company’s Moto E5 Plus would soon be available to Sprint’s postpaid customers. The phone is also expected to be offered for pre-paid carriers such as Boost Mobile and Cricket Wireless. The US price has yet to be announced, but in Europe, the phone will be sold for €169.
