Today, Apple announced that version 3.0 of the Apple TV software is now available for download.
Apple added new features to the software as well as a redesigned menu that will make it easier for users to find the content they are looking for.
Additional features include the recently-announced iTunes Extras that gives users access to special features in the iTunes Store including cast interviews and deleted scenes from movies, and the iTunes LP which provides related content to songs such as album art, interactive lyrics, writing about the record and performance videos.
An internet radio feature has also been added to Apple TV allows to listen to several stations such as WCBS and K-Rock. Apple also added Genius Mixes which lets users listen to up to 12 endless mixes.
iPhoto users now also have access to iPhoto events as well as the iPhoto Faces.
