Well, there you have it. After days of silence regarding the exploding iPhone and iPod incidents reported over U.K. and Europe, the phone maker finally speaks up.
And nope, they’re not taking the blame for their gadgets’ exploding tendencies either.
So what did they have to say?
“In all cases the glass cracked due to an external force that was applied to the iPhone,” Alan Hely, a London-based spokesman for Apple Europe, told Bloomberg in an email. “There are no confirmed battery overheating incidents for iPhone 3GS and the number of reports we are investigating is in the single digits.”
In short: it’s not their fault.
Well, this isn’t the end of our exploding Apple gadgets saga though. Investigations by France’s consumer protection agency are still ongoing and independent experts from U.S. are also still in the process of conducting further tests.
Stay tuned! 🙂
