As expected, a lot of people were not so happy about this week’s non-announcement of the Mac Pro.
Apple confirmed the redesigned Mac Pro is slated for release in 2019. This is contrary to the 2018 release that most people have been hoping for after a discussion last year.
The Cupertino-based company wanted to “provide clarity” to potential buyers that are holding out on purchasing the iMac Pro because of the impending release.
“We want to be transparent and communicate openly…the Mac Pro is a 2019 product. It’s not something for this year,” Apple’s senior director of Mac hardware product marketing, Tom Boger, told TechCrunch.
The Pro Workflow team led by John Ternus will be facilitating the development of this product. They are also hiring full-time and part-time artists to produce media for testing Apple’s hardware and software.
“We’ve been focusing on visual effects and video editing and 3D animation and music production as well,” said Ternus. “And we’ve brought in some pretty incredible talent, really masters of their craft. And so they’re now sitting and building out workflows internally with real content and really looking for what are the bottlenecks.”
Apple was hinting of a completely redesigned Mac Pro that will be “modular” and “upgradeable” when the iMac Pro was released last year. Reports suggest that the plans of making it modular still remains.
XBox One X is expected to be available in India According to Microsoft
Last Tuesday, Microsoft announced at a media event in New Delhi the release of XBox One X and the price in India. This will be the company’s answer to Sony’s PS4 Pro. The XBox One X price is said to be Rs. 44,990 (around $706). This will be available starting Tuesday at Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Landmark, and Microsoft India stores.
The company has a comprehensive retail distribution plan for India, said by Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Country General Manager, Consumer and Devices Sales, Microsoft India at the launch event.
But before this announcement, the XBox One X was supposed to be released last January 15. Microsoft admitted that it was an error on their part and that time they were still supplying requirements.
It was a great news to see Microsft release the XBox One X although there was a problem on Sony PS4 Pro’s supplies issues in India. It’s new from the company’s usual wait time that saw the XBox One S release almost a year and a half after the rest of the world. Also, the original XBox One hitting the country nearly a year after everywhere else.
Reviewing the XBox One X around its international launch, it’s an excellent choice right now. Also the price of PC components being expensive just adds to the value. If you have a 4K TV or planning to have one, then, this one is right for you. With the help of a good Internet connection, you’re good to go. But if you have a PS4 Pro or a PS4, it could add up to be a decent complimentary system. Also more developers support it in terms of XBox One X enhancements.
You heard that right folks! Our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is going to dominate the gaming scene on 2018 and that’s next year! Just a few months of waiting and Insomniac Games along with Marvel and Sony Interactive Entertainment are going to release Marvel’s very own Spidey.
Officially called Marvel’s SpiderMan, I’m really looking forward for its release because of the great features that the creators did.
What to Expect from the Spider-Man PS4
Well, who is Spidey without the swinging using his web, right? It’s all part of the game and keep this in mind — the web-swinging is not scripted. It’s physics-based. You Science geeks out there know what this means.
This is also inspired by the Spiderman movie so the scenes and adventures you’ll go through won’t be very different from the movie.
Players might also find some very interesting characters throughout the game so keep your eyes peeled for them.
I just watched the trailer and I can say that the gameplay is superb! The new gameplay demo shows Spidey stalking goons from high atop the rafters, silently picking them off and webbing them up one by one. Seeing Spidey do his acrobatic tactics while swinging from building to building makes this game a must-have.
Wondering when the very first Windows Phone 8 will be released?
Well, according to a report from The Verge, pre-orders for the first Windows Phone 8 device will begin on October 21. The lucky telecom company that will be serving the Windows Phone 8 device is none other than AT&T.
AT&T is said to be going to sell the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X.
HTC is going to release the 8X and the 8S. The former is a high end smartphone while the latter will be catering to cash strapped individuals.
Nokia on the other hand, is going to release the Lumia 920 which features a 4.5 inch screen and is powered by a Snapdragon S4 processor. They are also going to release a lower tiered version in the Lumia 820.
Lumia 920 is exclusively tied up with AT&T, while the 8X has still not made a deal with the telecom giant.
It is widely rumored that the Nokia Lumia 920 will be launched this November 2, while HTC is said to roll out their 8X and 8S that same month though no definite date has been released.
