Payday 2 on Nintendo Switch: Here’s what you need to know

The developer added that the players could still enjoy the full original game. This includes the game’s support for multiple players so that it won’t alter the gamers’ gaming experience. However, the game won’t be updating all the downloadable content.

As pointed out by the developer, the game would only be based on the older version’s content. This would include the Most Wanted update. In case you don’t know, the Most Wanted update is actually tantamount to the game’s content released back in mid-2017 on PC.

Rest assured, they are still coming but Starbreeze further noted that they opted for older version for them to release the game for Switch in time for the fifth anniversary of the series. It added that it “had to go with the content ported and available at the time of console submission” to meet the aforesaid timeframe.

Meanwhile, Switch owners would still be able to get the content to make the game complete. This as Starbreeze vowed that Payday 2 would be getting a “future content updates.” The developer, however, did not give any timeframe for this matter. Switch owners are just hoping that the developer would release new updates after the game releases.

Payday 2 is expected to be released on Nintendo Switch on February 27.

Made in India Video Games Will Be Available in Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch will give a big break for video games made in India

Sources told that Nintendo employees were checking and evaluating games made from Indian studios for a potential release. This was confirmed by a Facebook post from Bengaluru-based Holy Cow Productions that was visited by Nintendo. Their staff were in the city to take part in the Indian Gaming Show.

Yacht Club Games, an indie developer and the creator of the Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove admired Nintendo for giving support for independent developers. With the help of enough promotions and advertising, expect that Nintendo has an eye for you.

This move is a big step to help small time and independent developers to gain profit considering that the competition between Android and iOS is very intense. But the good news is game studios are looking for other source of revenues such as e-sports.

To our surprise, Nintendo Switch is not yet officially available in India but it has been selling across the country, may it be online or offline.

A buyer said that there are more customers who are looking for the Nintendo Switch than they do for the PS4 or Xbox One.

Nintendo is giving a lot of people, especially the developers, the opportunity to showcase their talents. And also us, the consumers, the access and experience not only to all games from the US but also from around the world.

The Nintendo Switch is one of the better efforts from the House of Mario, with a strong line-up in their 2nd year. The possibility of them making video games from India may strengthen and may give them the title of being the most developer-friendly console there is.

If you’re a big fan of Nintendo, then stay tune for the newest updates regarding this big news.

Hey there Nintendo Switch fans! 2018 is a very promising year because of the exclusive games that are about to be released.

2017 games like Super Mario Odyssey proved that this gaming console understands that taking risk is important.

Many games last year have kept users entertained and more are coming our way.

Kirby Star Allies

Kirby’s Switch debut is a multiplayer twist on traditional Kirby action, allowing four players to party up and tackle platforming stages and boss battles using powers absorbed from lesser enemies. The game was announced at E3 2017, and was further discussed in a September 2017 Nintendo Direct. It’s currently scheduled to release sometime in 2018.

Project Octopath Traveler (working title)

Square Enix and developer Acquire are in the home stretch of development on Project Octopath Traveler, a retro RPG that mixes 2D and 3D graphics in an effort to bridge the gap between 16-bit and HD graphics. A demo was released on the Nintendo eShop earlier this year, but the release date is still listed as “2018.”

Nintendo Switch Is US’ All-Time Fastest-Selling Console In First 10 Months

Nintendo has nailed itself to be the best selling game console. The company’s Nintendo Switch was already saleable when it was publicly launched last year. The gaming console carried its success until the end of 2017.

Now for this year, Nintendo broke another record this year in the US. For staying 10 months on the market, the company’s Switch is, in fact, the fastest-selling gaming console.

Nintendo Switch 10-month sale performance

In 10 months which cover the period from launch since March 2017 since this month, there were 4.8 million Switch gaming consoles sold across the U.S.

The record-breaking sales of Nintendo have surpassed the previous home consoles within 10 months on the market. This includes Nintendo’s rival, Wii which sold at least 4 million units in its first 10 months.

Nintendo’s sales now stood at 2 million units through September. Apart from this, the company has also shared news about the performance of its various games in their platform.

For instance, Nintento’s The Legen of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has reached a rate of beyond 55 percent in the US. This translates to at least 2.64 million units, according to the report.

Also, Nintendo’s popular game Super Mario Odyssey has reached over 60 percent which is equivalent to 2.88 million given the fact that it was belatedly launched at the end of October. One of the factors contributed to it is the game Breath of the Wild which is available on Wii U gaming console.

Another Nintendo game that is performing well is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where it its over 50 percent or equivalent to 2.4 million copies, and Splatoon 2 with over 20 percent copies or equivalent to 960, 000 copies.

According to the company, it expects that Nintendo Switch would surpass the Wii U sales globally by the end of March. It has also increased the production of Switch to meet the global demand.

PS4’s PlayStation Network, Nintendo Switch’s Eshop Plagued With Connection Issues

Both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch owners have expressed disappointment on Tuesday after two gaming networks were down. The Nintendo Eshop online serves as well as the Sony PlayStation Network suffered outages.

News about Sony’s PlayStation Network and Nintendo’s Eshop online services surfaced early morning on Tuesday, December 26. Gamers criticized the outages of services because their plans of accessing games were interrupted. The holiday season is the ideal time for gamers to play games or redeem game vouchers.

Gamers find it hard to redeem game vouchers

In a Twitter post on Tuesday, Sony has reportedly acknowledged the problem. Sony said that the company is “aware that some users are having issues in redeeming vouchers on PSN.” However, other reports claim that some PS4 players are experiencing a certain issue aside from redeeming game vouchers.

Other gamers reported that they have problems connecting to both the Sony’s PlayStation Network and Nintendo Eshop in general.

On the other hand Nintendo, in a separate Twitter post, on Tuesday said that it was already working on to solve the connection issues that gamers are experiencing.

“We apologize for any issues you may be experiencing with Nintendo eShop,” the company said. “We are working on it and hope to have this resolved soon.”

This is not the first time that PlayStation Network and Nintendo eShop experienced a service down time. Back in December 2014, both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network were reported to be hacked. Fortunately, this year, the grim scenario will not be repeated as the year is nearing its end.
