Home Button For Moto Z3 Play Will Be Removed

Moto Z3 Play will no longer have a home button.  Moto is set to update its line of premium phones.  This will give those who like their phones to be reasonably affordable something to be excited about.

Removing The Home Button

The latest Moto flagship will no longer have the home button of its predecessor, the Z2 Play.  As such, it is likely to feature a display larger than the Z2 Play’s 5.5-inch display.

 About The Phone

So far, aside from no home button, the major aspects of the phone seem to be thinner bezels, and no headphone jack.  It also has a dial rear camera setup.  The color of the render is deep indigo.

Since Moto Mods are still in the works, buyers will be able to customize their phones.  This is possible with modules like the JBL snap-on speaker.

Other Information About The Phone

AS expected, the phone has a dual rear camera, which some people claim to be a combination of 12 MP + 8MP lenses.  The new phone will forego the front fingerprint scanner in favor of the side-mounted one on the right, near the volume keys.

The Moto Z3 Play has a 6-inch display, larger than its predecessor’s 5.5-inch display.  Its display has HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 px) and 18:9 aspect ratio.  The device is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip, 4GB of Ram, and 64GB of storage, which is expandable through microSD cards.  The phone should have had a larger battery.  It inculdes one which is 15 percent smaller than the original Z Play’s.  This is an oversight by Motorola.  But hopefully they will do something about this.

Its Release And Price

The Z Family is Moto’s premium line, with the Play being its cheaper model.  No price is available for the Z3 Play yet.  But the Z2 Play launched at $499.  Its release date is not known yet, but rumors point to June.
