Fujifilm has officially unveiled the X-T100, a brand new mirrorless camera. The X-T100 is among the company’s new product from the X series product line. The new camera was announced on Thursday, May 24.

 

According to Fujifilm, the X-T100 is the company’s entry-level variant in the X Series lineup. The compact camera features a unique style and functionality found in the Fujifilm’s several premium mirrorless cameras.

Further, the company said that the X-T100 is actually a better alternative above the 2-year-old entry level X-A5 model. The X-A5 model has no viewfinder, it said.

 

But the Tokyo-based company has pointed out that it retains some specs of the X-AF model. What they did is to bundle the specs with a more advanced product that is ideal for photographers.

Some of the X-T100 features include an OLED electronic viewfinder with a 0.39-inch display. It boasts of a 2.36-million dot resolution as well as a magnification of 0.62x. The compact camera has Bluetooth connectivity, flip-out touch-screen display, among others.

 

The X-T100 is expected to be available in three colours: black, Dark Silver, and Champagne Gold. It has a 24.2-megapixel CMOS APS-C sensor with a high-speed image-processing engine.
