Fortnite has released its fresh new 3.5 update which features new skins and cosmetics. Both the Fortnite Battle Royale and Save The World Servers were down in PS4, Xbox One and PC. Epic Games said that both games went offline to implement the game’s update.

 

Now, what’s amazing with the update is that it re-introduced the Fortnite 50v50 Limited Time Mode. Apart from this, the game developer also added the Port-a-Fort grenade to Battle Royale players.

 

“With a suite of cinematic settings, you can now capture your most memorable moments, highlights and cinematics. We can’t wait to see what you create. You have an opportunity to win phenomenal prizes with the Replay system… very soon,” Epic Games said referring to the Battle Royale Reply of the game.

 

Fortnite skins update

 

Regarding the game’s skin update, Epic Games has teased fans with the game’s new skins. Players who were able to download the 3.5 update found some interesting additions to the game.

 

According to Fortnite player TwoEpicBuddies , the game’s 3.5 update has several cosmetics for the Fortnite Battle Royale. These cosmetic skins, however, were still on hold as of this posting. These include four skins, four gliders, three new pieces of back bling and three axes, among others.

 

Meanwhile, if you are trying to access the Fortnite: Battle Royale, definitely you would have a hard time playing the game. This comes after Epic Games has announced that it some of its gaming servers were shutdown for “emergency maintenance.”

 

“We’re bringing the servers offline for emergency maintenance. We apologize for this inconvenience. We currently have no ETA on when servers will be back up,” a tweet from Fortnite’s official Twitter account said.

 

With this, Fortnite players are advised to visit the Epic’s status page to get the timely update and progress.
