Cupertino-based Apple Inc. is planning to launch the Apple Watch Series 3 in Thailand come April. The popular wearable device has LTE capability as Apple continues to expand the availability of Apple Watch.

“Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular lets you make a call, send a text, and stream music – all without your phone,” Apple announced on the device’s official webpage.

Apple said that it uses three various cellular models to use both the UMTS and LTE bands across the globe. It added that each cellular model is tailored to a certain country where it was sold.

“There is no single model that supports roaming worldwide,” the tech giant said.

With this, Apple users should expect that the Apple Watch Series 3 is expected to arrive in stores by April 5. In Thailand, the LTE connectivity would allow for Apple Watch Series 3 would be provided by a local cellular network operator TrueMove H.

 

In case you don’t know, TrueMove H is actually one of Thailand’s top cellular providers. Though it may not have a solid customers base to provide the LTE availability still, it would reach iPhone users in specific areas. Other telecommunication companies such as Advanced Info Service (AIS) and Total Access Communication (DTAC) have to wait until such time Apple inked an agreement with these carriers.

 

Recently, the company’s regional storefront has announced that it has updated in preparation for the planned sales date. iPhone users could now select for GPS + Cellular Apple Watch Series 3 models. These devices are now live, and the expected delivery dates are estimated between three to five days, respectively.

 

Regarding the price, the Apple Watch Series 3 will be sold for 14,900 baht and 15,900 baht for 38mm and 42mm aluminum models. While the wearable devices’ stainless steel versions start with 21,900 baht and 23,900 baht, respectively. The device’s ceramic Edition will be sold for 47,900 baht and 49,900 baht.
