Both Android Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus users would be able to get the latest Android 8.0 Oreo updates. This development comes after South Korea-based Samsung has rolled out the mobile OS update in two flagships.

 

Samsung said the Android 8.0 Oreo update is expected to bring some fixes and improve the performances on both devices. Android 8.0 Oreo update is actually the first consumer-ready updates, according to the company.

 

Samsung Rolls Out Android Oreo To Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus

 

Now, aside from the usual bug fixes, Samsung has also rolled out in the update the Samsung Experience 9.0, the company’s own skill which has been rolled out first in Germany starting February 8.

 

The Android 8.0 Oreo update, according to Samsung, is now being rolled out in Samsung users in India. Samsung said that other regions elsewhere would also be getting the update anytime soon.

 

However, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus users who registered as beta users will be able to get access of the recent mobile OS update, with the more general population of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus users.

 

Regarding the Oreo update, Samsung users should expect new features and other extras provided by the mobile maker. Also, Samsung users should also expect improvements on biometrics security and some subtle tweaks to the U.I. in a few places.

 

The company’s Samsung Experience 9.0 is expected to bring some key improvements in device’s keyboard, search, Bixby Briefing, and Color Lens, among others.
