Search giant Google is now doing a major revamp on its Android P. This comes after the company has been struggling to market Oreo to Android users. In the latest survey, it was found out that only 1.1 percent of Android users are using Oreo.

Now, a fresh report has surfaced on Tuesday, saying Google is trying hard to improve the design of Android P. Google said that one of the main objectives of Android P is “to improve the looks of the software.”

Android P to have a new look and notch, according to Google

Having said that, Google is obviously trying to improve its platform hoping that it would convince iPhone users to switch over to Google. This would also mean that a better phone design would eventually help improve the phone’s image to stand out this year.

But other tech analysts said that if Google is serious about improving its platform. Then it would be putting the company on direct collision course with Apple. The Cupertino-based company’s iPhone X is a real stunner.

Google could buy this time to improve its phone and platform as Apple is trying to improve the performance and reliability of iOS 12. Aside from this, Google is also planning to design the recently updated mobile operating system. The new design would eventually integrate camera notches like on the iPhone X and Essential Phone.

Another rumor about Google’s Android P is that it would support various factors of Android devices. These include the multiple screens feature similar to ZTE Axon M including also the foldable displays similar to Samsung that is also rumored to working on this 2018.

And lastly, the search engine giant is expected to announce the Android P this coming March with a developer preview. The company would formally unveil Android P at a Google I/O come May with the final version of the software to be rolled out in all Google users globally.
