Apple TV device owners will now be able to watch a live streaming service on YouTube. This comes after Google’s online video portal YouTube’s streaming live TV service is now coming on Apple TV devices.

 

YouTube Live TV service is available for Apple TV devices

 

The company announced this development earlier this week. The Google-owned video site announced in a tweet that Apple TV owners could check the App Store. The official YouTube TV account also revealed that the app could be downloaded for tvOS devices.

 

The announcement came later when YouTube TV has also announced that its platform is now compatible with Roku devices.

 

In case you don’t know, YouTube’s move to expand its streaming service to popular set-top box platforms was not easy. The company’s expansion could be best described as a “rollercoaster” since it launched in 2017 its streaming TV services.

It can be recalled that back in December, YouTube had announced the delayed roll-out of its services-both for Roku and Apple devices.

 

YouTube had failed to meet an earlier deadline when Apple launched its TV app during the first quarter of 2018. The Google-owned video site then moved the deadline in late October.

And earlier this week, when YouTube announced that its streaming service is now compatible with Roku, a company official has reportedly informed the media outfits that an Apple TV support.
