Ubisoft announces Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak

But this event was different from what gamers experienced before. Now, the game’s outbreak will be involving teams of three players. The teams will be teaming up to take on a mysterious threat in a particular town.

The town has been quarantined, and players will be able to get new gears. Rainbow Six Siege game developer Ubisoft said that the outbreak would take a form of a four-week event. The new time frame is available to all players.

“An infestation of unknown origin is attacking the small town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico,” said Ubisoft describing the backstory of the game. “The danger is so high that the authorities quarantined the entire town, trapping civilians and soldiers inside. Very little information is filtering out, but the only certainty is that the situation is dire.

The game developer said the free event would begin with the launch of the Year 3 Season 1 title update. It added that within the duration of the event, players would be able to collect cutting-edge HazMat cosmetic that can be found in the Outbreak Packs.

Also, Ubisoft further added that Outbreak Packs could be acquired for 300 R6 Credits each. The Outbreak Collection will contain cosmetic gear for the following Operators:

Two Chimera Operators
Smoke

Kapkan
Hibana
