Game developer Blizzard has implemented changes in its popular game Overwatch. The developer has tested the game for a week. Now the changes would involve moving from the game’s test servers to the wider gaming population.

Blizzard said that it would implement a patch for its 4K team shooter for Xbox One X gaming console. However, the developer said that the big change would really affect the game’s two characters: Junkrat and Mercy.

The developer has reportedly downgraded the Overwatch’s popular character. This means that their skills and capabilities were affected by the changes Blizzard implemented. It added that the biggest adjustment was with the healer Mercy targeting her Ultimate ability and Resurrect.

Here’s the changes made by Blizzard affecting the Overwatch’s popular characters: Mercy and Junkrat, according to Engadget.

Mercy

Valkyrie
No longer makes Resurrect instant
No longer grants a bonus Resurrect charge
The speed bonus Guardian Angel receives when activating Valkyrie has been decreased by 50%
Duration reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds

Junkrat

Concussion Mine
Now will deal less damage to targets farther away from the explosion’s center

Engadget reported that the changes would take a tool on Mercy’s ability to resurrect teammates when showing her Valkyrie ultimate to slow down the other teammates.

And for Junkrat’s part, the concussion mines would be needing more accurate targeting to implement damage. Junkrat’s concussion mines would also prevent players from spamming and it would kill easily.
